Hello everyone! It's time for this thing I said would happen at the beginning of the month but clearly didn't! That's right, it's time for: DEBATE STATS.

If you haven't given me your character's debate stats yet, you can do so now.

You also have an opportunity to level up your stats! Under STAT LEVEL UPS! Please link me to any evidence your character did one or more of the following things during December or January:

• Got into an argument! (It doesn't matter if they lost, if it was incredibly stupid, or both.)
  
• Had to do some sort of public speaking!
  
• Did some kind of research!

These can be incredibly questionable or silly examples, just spin it for me as "experience" in the art of debate!

If your character did any of the above, you'll be able to assign an extra star to one of their stats. It doesn't need to be relevant to their experience.

Hello everyone!!!! It's me, Meggie, with a sophomore!!! This is Cicero Cook, a sophomore Thorntrail, your tiny debate overlord, and the pain in student council's side (soph rep, naturally).

Laszlo is pursuing interviewees for everyone's second favorite radio show, Getting To Know You. The gist is that Laszlo sits down with a recording device and asks his peers or teachers a series of slightly invasive questions.

I'm going to start with teachers (sorry mods and also Lionel) but students are not safe. If your dear sweet childe would allow Laszlo to interview them, this is your time to let me know!!! I'll probably send you the questions via email so when I post them to the comm it'll be a surprise. I'm going to TRY to make this a weekly thing but yall know I'm flaky like a fine pastry.

This Wednesday, Val and Holland are hosting a lakeside themed picnic with romantic(?) rowboat rides for two! If your character is going to be attending this fairly fancy to-do, you can sign up for the rowboat rides. If you don't have anyone in mind, Rin and I will just have to RNG it for you. :)))

• Technically the girls sent out invitations but they're both too Nice to turn anyone away.
  
• If you're friendly with Holland or Val, you probably have an invite.
  
• There will be mocktails and tiny snacks.
  
• Val is going to beg Jupiter to make said snacks but "please make them, like, normal?"
  
• It's nautical themed! Think more adorable fishing village or quaint yachts than pirates, thanks.
