Hello everyone!!!! It's me, Meggie, with a sophomore!!! This is Cicero Cook, a sophomore Thorntrail, your tiny debate overlord, and the pain in student council's side (soph rep, naturally).

• Cranky mom friend. Cicero is compelled to take care of other people even if they don't want it or he doesn't want to do it. He's used to being the only "adult" at home, and took on a lot of responsibilities he shouldn't have, but he can't break the habit. SUPER responsible, but also super nosy.
  
• Not as rule abiding as you'd think he is. More likely to give the sophs a logical approach to a bad idea than stop them.
  
• Cranky in general, has a rather sharp, irritable personality. Good heart, bad temper.
  
• Drawn to messes. He's not happy unless he has something to fix! His self-worth is determined by how much of a service he is to you and your unfolding disaster! Unfortunately, he has a tendency to make things worse when he meddles.
  
• He's a steampunkish tinkerer who likes to make lots of little magical devices, but they're almost uniformly pointless. He's not good at big ideas, but he's very talented at making little things work. His contributions to Artificing and Magirobotics are... unique.
  
• Excellent handwriting, great at calligraphy, imitate other peoples' handwriting.
  
• Cicero has a particular talent for drawing sigils, which is designing a single symbol that captures the essence of a spell and can be activated by being touched/read. It's a VERY difficult form of symbology, and while he can only do it with super simple spells, that's still pretty impressive for a teenager.
  
• He's Debate Club President! He has a bias towards his fellow sophomore and wants more of you to join!!! DID YOU HEAR THEY MADE IT TO NATIONALS LAST YEAR??? He's mad that broomsports get more attention than debate.
  
• He's also a soph student council representative, and he's ready to make sure soph voices are heard!
  
• His cockatoo speaks in gramatically correct sentences that make no sense and sound like they were composed by a phone's auto-fill.
  
• Cicero desperately wants to be in Arithmancy and sometimes shows up uninvited to study sessions and "borrows" your homework.
  
• Lines:
  • Friends???? He's prickly but hopefully some people can handle that.
    
  • Upperclassmen he's made himself a huge nuisance to? Beleaguered TAs sick of his constant questions?
    
  • Enemies/rivals??? He will DEFINITELY try to start a rivalry with an upperclassman. He's coming for you, junior overachievers. You might already be in a rivalry with him and not know it yet.
    
  • Personal projects. Did you accidentally convince Cicero you're a mess? Is he still hung up on having seen you cry after an exam and now he's convinced you're emotionally fragile and needs to look out for you?
    
  • WHATEVER. This stuff's easier to figure out in-game but those are some ideas.

He has A Lot of overlap with Atlas and I think they could maybe get along. In the project way. Not an Equal Way. For sure. Atlas probably is mildly able to accept any authority he exerts because he is not Really his older sibling so it's better?

Annnd Tybalt's in debate but he's...Tybalt who as you know is nigh insufferable. Very good talker very bad researcher. Sorry in advance AGAIN!

Chanel loves this snappy miniature darling and will ?? actually probably never talk down to him as she does to most boys because he's little and trying so hard and you know what, she feels that.

He is probably only on Audrey's radar for being a symbology whiz please help her unlock the mystery creature in the basement.

It's okay Atlas, when you think about it, no one is really a peer with Cicero. He'll look out for Atlas as best he can while complaining about him paying too much attention to sports which are DUMB and take too much of the school budget!!!

Lyss I have news that will make you happy: Cicero fucking hates Tybalt.

BUT he loves Chanel and talks to her like they're the exact same age, thank you for respecting his maturity.

Audrey's also on his radar although I think he'll be a little perplexed about how to talk to her. He's very precise and can't see the forest for the trees, while she's a lot airier. I THINK IT'LL BE INTERESTING.

Mary Grace is both debate and Student Council and she has unfortunately never been nice to a boy even once in her life. If Cicero thinks she's being patronizing sometimes then he's probably right but she at least tries to sound sincere when it comes to serious club business. I'm also VERY EXCITED ABOUT DEBATE?? Mary Grace will get in plenty of arguments if it means getting to level up her debate skills.

Claudia is his poor Hermeticism TA, always happy to give extra credit assignments but also begging him to please God mind your limitations. Ms. Altizer makes her read his petitions to get into Arithmancy and summarize them for her. She loves him but sometimes when she sees him heading toward the classroom she suddenly remembers another appointment.

Cedar is a disaster AND a soph tinkerer and they WANT to be friends so just. Have fun with that my good dude.

Kermit is the LEAST relevant but they still have some club overlap so GOOD LUCK ESCAPING ME SUCKER.

Cicero absolutely believes he is in an intense rivalry with Mary Grace, and he'll sometimes be just a liiiittle bit harder on her in Debate Club because the power has gone to his head! I'm super excited for DEBATE STATS and LEVELING UP.

Claudia humors him just enough that this encourages his behavior. He has no limitations and WILL make things go terribly wrong because of that. He likes her a lot, though, so there's that!!!

Cedar is ABSOLUTRELY his friend and he loves them very much. He'll never run out of things to FIX with Cedar around.

Trudy overlaps with him on like a lot of interests. Possibly she has decided this sophomore is her child. If he wants to be her rival, she would welcome that. Since he can't really compete with her where it counts (class rank, grades), she would be glad to foster a protege.

Willow is also a nosy mom friend, so they either get along or clash. Or maybe both?

Hawthorne has thus far been unrelentingly okay with other people as he teeters between sheltered doofus and probable super villain, so I imagine he's quite alright with Cicero. He is a mess, but he doesn't think he is as big of a mess as he is, so any efforts to hold that mess together might be greeted with oblivious good-natured smiles.

Jup is mom to all Thorntrails. Likes this kid's moxie.

Adrian is Cicero's Symbology TA and boy that kid shows some initiative, huh?

Fiona is a fellow Thorntrail and a debate club member. She's also perfectionistic and responsible, with an occasional hot temper. But she may find his prickliness annoying, at least at first. They may get along well, but I can also see them being rivals.

Eddy is one of the junior overachievers, though quiet about it. He's in the Magirobo/Artificing/Arithmancy academic sphere. Probably not worth getting into a rivalry over, but he reacts to most unexpected things with deep awkwardness.
