ICEBREAKER MEME! LET'S TALK WRITING.

Hey y’all. We’re just under three weeks from game start and that means it’s time to get rolling on memes. We’re starting out pretty simple with an OOC icebreaker. Whether you’re totally new to journal RP or have been playing with the same people for years, it’s never a bad idea to pause for a chat about this hobby of ours!

With this meme, we want to hear about you: what your RP style is, what sort of plots you enjoy and what tropes you love to see in play. For now, please hold off on seeking specific lines. We’ll be doing a game-wide intro post/wanted lines meme next week! This one is all about the (wo)man behind the curtain.

RP Style:
- love a fast moving comment war
- always down to do ic/ooc stuff or thread tho
- will shitpost-backtag forever b/c im a gremlin. if it's plot-relevant, i try to cut myself off at the point where the information i'm back-inserting into the narrative would have impacted current play
Favorite Tropes/Lines: sounds like a bullshit cop-out, but i really just like to throw characters together and see what precipitates out from the mess. i always have extra fun playing sibs! and teammates!
Favorite Faces: i don't like to reuse faces! i get attached to all my peeps, but when they die, they die
Favorite Character Archetypes: love a secret sad feelings boy, love a chatterbox, love a total idiot. josh is 2/3, bc i'm falling back on old faves, lol. OH, rich jerk is a very good one for me. i played tony stark in marvel games for like... many, many years in hs, lmfao. i'm like ben, though; i feel like i haven't been rping for that long, so i try to make each character Hot N Fresh. i am... definitely approaching the point where i'm running out of archetypes to dabble in, tho, lol.
