ICEBREAKER MEME! LET'S TALK WRITING.

Hey y’all. We’re just under three weeks from game start and that means it’s time to get rolling on memes. We’re starting out pretty simple with an OOC icebreaker. Whether you’re totally new to journal RP or have been playing with the same people for years, it’s never a bad idea to pause for a chat about this hobby of ours!

With this meme, we want to hear about you: what your RP style is, what sort of plots you enjoy and what tropes you love to see in play. For now, please hold off on seeking specific lines. We’ll be doing a game-wide intro post/wanted lines meme next week! This one is all about the (wo)man behind the curtain.

Oooooooooooh, I would absolutely LOVE THAT!!! This poor childe needs as many people willing to put up with him as possible!!!! He's got connections to Mary Grace too, so expect him to skulk around Wildgulch A LOT.

Oh yes, totally!!!! Just don't fact check me on space, I need to actually Learn Shit About Space OOC. I would be HAPPY to plot stuff either next week on the plotting meme or earlier!!! Idk if you have anything specific going with Wyatt other than Buddies that Eddy would know Cori from but whatever!!!! I'm chill and like stuff!!!! This childe is just Very Awkward so needs people who can be patient.

XD no worries i'm not that big of a nitpick that i'll be fact checking you! and cheryl and i didn't really talk yet about the hows or anything except bonding as fellow southerners. but wyatt is gonna be one of the few people who will call cori out on looking after everyone else's needs except her own. and she can definitely be patient!

Ahhh!! OKAY!! AWESOME!!!!! I am Not A Southerner But I'm Gonna Pretend To Be!!! And Ahh!! That sounds good!!!! I'm a slacker and have A LOT of character profile reading to do before next week's meme, but I'll be sure to spin my wheels when reading Cori. ♥

LOL ♥ i'm a military brat with family roots in the south so i'm only half? ish. i've settled in cincinnati, right on the mason dixon line.

and oh man i have been trying to read through profiles and keep track of who's who but i am so not succeeding there yet. but if cori and wyatt are really good friends and wyatt and eddy are bffs then i would like to hope/think cori and eddy at least get along pretty well? (eesh, that wrote like a logic puzzle, WHOOPS)

i mean yeah okay they could also not get along but i feel like cori would try so hard to not let that happen so that they don't hurt wyatt's feelings?

Oh gasp!! I'm in Cleveland but used to visit Cincinnati for work. I also somehow never realized the Mason Dixon line crossed there but that... explains a lot. 😂

Yes! I think they would! He has it baked in that he really likes big outgoing personalities, especially if they do all the talking. He's VERY easy to win over and I imagine he'll generally like most the Wildgulch kids, so no worries there!

CLEARLY we will have to meet up in columbus someday. or i usually make it up to cleveland at least once in the summer for a baseball game- my roomie is a big indians fan so we try to catch a game. but yeah, i think the mason dixon line is technically the river, buuuut yep! cincinnati/nky is a weird..i feel like they can't decide if they're north or south most of the time.

and hooray! i don't know that cori is like SUPER OUTGOING but she's friendly for sure!

Haha yes. I've only been up here a couple years and have yet to make it to a game, or like.. any of the teams up here, whoops. & yes, definitely! I always forget the river is literally the state line and half the people working in Cinci actually live in Kentucky.

I've lived here for.. Almost 10 years? It's the furthest north I've ever lived and I don't think I could move any further north ever lol. I struggle enough already with winters here!

I have LUCKED OUT and haven't had to deal with a True Cleveland Winter yet. I was so scared to move up here just because of the winters, haha.
