Oh I love!!! him!

I am.... very bad at making characters. I spend 5 minutes total making them look passingly similar and call it done. And I haven't done my PP kids yet.

i'll tell you a secret: i grab sims of their pbs from the gallery and then modify them from there

unfortunately the only ones i found of rahart were not remotely useful. but i have been meaning to modify one of madelaine petsch into fred.

i rolled an eddy and then got lost replacing buildings with ones off the library so i have yet to actually play university at all, sigh.

AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME TO MAKE SIMS FROM SCRATCH

i was surprised to even find one of ben j pierce t b h i thought i was going to have to modify an ezra miller asdflkdsfkjl

i did that w/the magic expansion bc the buildings were....... horrible. i moved my sim into glimmerbrook and the house was ugly and i was like "nonono this won't do" so i spent the first day just replacing buildings with gallery ones.

peacemaker makes incredibly beautiful buildings btw. i love his art nouveau style for glimmerbrook.

oooooh. i do love peacemaker's stuff though previously only peeked around for CC which i have started veering away from since i don't want to keep up with compatibility and one download leads to 12 hours of disappearing into downloads, buuuuuuuuut... i like the look of what he's done so far for the uni stuff.

speaking of cc though, what defaults do people use? :|a

aaa yeah, i hate it when updates break my mods. i heard this recent EP broke most of peacemaker's furniture 😬
i try to keep them in separated organized folders based on the type of CC so it's at least easier to find and pull out the problem pieces. sims 4 tray importer lets me see what mods i'm using on a character and where the mod is located in my folders so i can find it and remove it. sims 4 studio lets me preview what furniture in the packages look like.

i don't use default replacements but i like this skin for my female sims. (tray importer says i'm using that one for armani?? but i haven't seen him shirtless to see if it gives him drawn on boobies but i think his skin looks good.)

i usually use skin overlays over the maxis defaults but i haven't really found one i like because they usually make the sims look way paler than their default skin tone and also draw on abs. i use some of s-clubs but they have the pale/abs problem and it really depends on the sim.
