PLOT CALENDAR: MAY 16 - 31
KEY
This is Part 2 of the MAY plot calendar! Each player can take one slot. This is Peckenpaugh's final pcal, and as we move toward the final event of the game in the first week of June, we're keeping things a little fast and loose. Rather than having a strict calendar of events for the last two weeks of the month, we're relying on "stay tuned..." events and surprise day of posts.

- Today at lunch Presley Mondragon nets a black eye and a whole lot of tomato sauce stains all over their clothes for physically intervening in a fist fight between two freshman. It sounds like the spat erupted over someone named Raymond and who was more worthy of him.

๐ QUIDDITCH: Mothgarden vs Wildgulch!
- The last game of the season is delayed by a few hours as staff spends the morning cleaning the pitch of strange vines and flowers.

- ๐ The MACUSA's Bureau of Magical Beings is all over campus today...
- Mr. Berzelius also introduces Mothgarden to a new student: the 53-year-old prince of the Lepidopterites, Rex. He and his guardian have relocated to Peckenpaugh campus and Rex will be joining the junior class for the last couple weeks of the year, per his request. Rex seems thrilled to be here.
- Mr. Berzelius selects Valkyrie Horvat to act as guide for the next few days, escorting Rex around campus and answering any questions he might have.
- ๐ Sometime this week, Edgar Waxweiler is going to return his cicada memory to Ms. Gunzenhauser (we're holding ourselves to this). After this point, we will allow others with fully opened shells to return their memories if they'd like. Dropbox us and we'll discuss with you!

It's Turkey Cacciatore Tuesday! in the cafeteria today. Say that five times fast.
- Having forgotten about the more rigorous curfew rules until late Willow Quackenbush is hauling ass across campus to get back to their dorm when they spot Mr. Purcell and Ms. Altizer hurrying in the opposite direction, toward central campus. Willow goes unnoticed, but they get a clear look at Ms. Altizer clutching Mr. Purcell's head as they hurry to their destination. As Willow crosses the path they'd taken, they see something shining and wet on the ground. Is that...blood?

- Cloud cover is thick tonight, which wouldn't ordinarily disrupt the late night Astronomy session, but students are informed during this morning's announcements that the night class is cancelled due to poor visibility.

- While seeking shelter from a sudden downpour, Armani Addams stumbles upon Bearigold beneath the canopy at the near edge of the Western Quarter. At first, she seems to just be a rowdy bearret having a good time rolling around in the damp earth, but upon closer inspection it seems she's tangled up in vines. Armani frees her, and she repays them with a giant bearret hug. After, Bearigold seems reluctant to leave their side, following them to their destination and waiting patiently outside.

๐ Happy Birthday, Desmond Savage!
- ๐ It's warm enough to do a bit of kayaking, so [ADVENTURE CLUB] takes some boats out on the lake. As they paddle north up Lake Peckenpaugh, they find a bit more than they bargained for...

๐ Happy Birthday, Echo Ellerby!
- There's a lot of racket outside Thorntrail today. Fiona Moon finds the source: Mr. Trullinger is building a shelter just on the edge of Thorntrail's clearing. It seems he's buiding a bearret house for Bearigold. Fiona agrees to lend a hand and spends the afternoon hammering away while Mr. Trullinger excitedly explains that Bearigold will probably add a burrow to the structure in time. He also confides that he decided to build it because, "I'd feel a lot better, knowing you all are better able to look out for each other."

๐ DEFENSE WORKSHOP!
- Ms. Gunzenhauser and Mr. Purcell are organizing a "defensive magic workshop." This isn't so unusual — Duelling & Wandwork Club usually has an exhibition at the end of the year where they show off what they've learned and teach other students a few basics — but this is less talent show and more actual study session. Students will be going over a variety of Charms, including Shielding, Freezing and Patronus. You will have the opportunity to reroll for your Patronus here.

- Aristotle Ahn pops into Spellunking after classes and gets stuck behind an overloaded Muscheron trying to barter some of their hoard. Except—wait, isn't that Aris's lost thimble? And Mr. Berzelius' eye?

It's Taiyaki Tuesday! in the cafeteria today.
- ๐ Alchemy meets today, and while Mr. Berzelius is still his jovial, chaotic old self, the class is conducted a great deal more seriously than usual. Rather than exploring the fine effects of emotion, date, time and ingredient variance on familiar potions, they're working on brewing up a weed killer that works on a very specific type of weed.
- Mr. B has everyone wearing full protective gear as they handle samples of the strange vine that's been growing around campus. Subjecting the weed to a barrage of tests wields results that most everyone already knows: these things hate ice and love fire, but [ALCHEMY STUDENTS] also discover something very strange: the vine grows when you're aware of it but not looking at it, but when you really examine it, focus all of your attention on it, it seems to wilt...
- During the course of the class, Chanel Addams cuts themself when the vine wriggles away from them during dissecting, and the vine latches onto their finger. Mr. Berzelius removes it and fusses over making sure Chanel is alright, the wound is clean and bound up. He even checks in on them again a few hours after class.

- Today Aristotle Ahn, Armani Addams, Eddy Waxweiler, Felicity Deverill, Kermit Creekmore, Trudy McGilliguddy, and Tybalt Zettler each wake up in the morning to a small square of woven grass sitting on their desk. Upon closer inspection, the woven square appears to be a little pouch. Inside each pouch is a talisman — a (naturally shed) cactus cat needle wound with wire, hooked to a tiny bell (...wonder where that came from) and strung up on a short rope of braided grass. Along with that is a note, "Look and see. Listen and hear. Warriors keep moving forward."
- Carry the little talisman around for more than a few seconds and you'll quickly discover that it reacts to certain plants, and one weed in particular. It rings very noisily when brought near one of those strange weeds and their purple flowers.

- ๐ In an effort to remain flexible in the lead up to end game, we are keeping these final days blank. You can expect that at least one or two of them will have mini-pcals, "stay tuned..." posts or IC/OOCs tossed in, though! We'll be getting the Bingo Blackout recipients their reward during one of these off pcal events.
