aaa yeah, i hate it when updates break my mods. i heard this recent EP broke most of peacemaker's furniture 😬 i try to keep them in separated organized folders based on the type of CC so it's at least easier to find and pull out the problem pieces. sims 4 tray importer lets me see what mods i'm using on a character and where the mod is located in my folders so i can find it and remove it. sims 4 studio lets me preview what furniture in the packages look like.
i don't use default replacements but i like this skin for my female sims. (tray importer says i'm using that one for armani?? but i haven't seen him shirtless to see if it gives him drawn on boobies but i think his skin looks good.)
i usually use skin overlays over the maxis defaults but i haven't really found one i like because they usually make the sims look way paler than their default skin tone and also draw on abs. i use some of s-clubs but they have the pale/abs problem and it really depends on the sim.
