🔮 DIVINATION PREDICTIONS

Each month, Divination students may select one event marked with a crystal ball (🔮) tag to 'predict' before it occurs. Characters may divine information by any means the player prefers EXCEPT for True Sight, which is not for teens. Sorry kiddos. After filling out the form below and posting it in reply to this comment, players will receive a mod response describing what information they've received.

Divination predictions should not prevent an event from happening, so the information you receive from the mods will always be vague or ambiguous. In order to protect pre-written plots, characters may not gain more information beyond what is given to them by the mods. Divination players should be mindful of those involved with the event they're predicting, and we encourage you to speak with the person or people who hold the volunteer slot(s) before posting.

These slots are first come first served and do not count as a pcal volunteer slot, but will almost always be in limited supply. Please be considerate of your fellow Divination players and allow others a chance to grab a Divination slot if you've already taken a few.

Please fill out the form below, and let us know which two of the following you'd like to predict:
  • WHEN: The date or time the event takes place, precision will vary.
  • WHAT: A possibly ambiguous description of what may occur. If you select this option, please do not expand beyond what the mods have provided for you.
  • WHO: We'll tell you who is involved in this event. Sometimes precisely, sometimes...not.
At this time, Arithmancy students cannot take Divination slots, but they will later!

Here's an example: On September 5th Lars accidentally locks himself in a storage closet and has to be rescued by Carlos. Cowboy opts to take this divination slot and asks for the WHO and the WHAT. The mods reply confirming that Cowboy is able to accurately predict "Lars will find himself in a dark place this month."
